Catwalk / Assessment Directions & Face and Hair Charts

This is the face chart for my catwalk assessment look. The design features pearl embellishments on the eyelids, a dusky pink lip and luminous, pearl like skin. The hair charts are shown below, simply demonstrating the centre parted, half up half down style I chose, using the circular clip.

Assessment Directions

  1. Prep skin using the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentré.
  2. Apply the L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer to add radiance to the skin.
  3. Use the Nars multiple in Copacabana over the cheekbones and forehead.
  4. Apply L'Oreal True Match Foundation using a buffing brush to the models face.
  5. Apply concealer where needed to cover imperfections.
  6. Using a tapered brush, apply a cream contour shade to the cheekbones.
  7. Powder the under eyes and nose lightly with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light.
  8. Dust Nars Albatross Highlighter on the forehead, nose, cheekbones, eyelids and cupids bow. Make sure to build the colour up in the inner corners of the eyes.
  9. Using a spoolie, brush a pale cream highlighter through the brows.
  10. Apply a dark brown brow gel to the lashes.
  11. Using a set of tweezers, apply the self adhesive pearls of various sizes to the eye, covering the whole lid.
  12. Apply the Rimmel Lip Liner in East End Snob to define the lips and add shape.
  13. Using a fingertip, dab the Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Delirium to the model's lips.
  14. Centre part the hair, brush through and straighten in sections.
  15. Section off the part of the hair that will be pinned back and clip in place.
  16. Apply the hair accessory to the hair and remove clips holding the hair in place.

This is my second catwalk face and hair chart. Much more toned down and simple, this look features a dusky pink colour blended over the lid and into the socket, a dusky pink lip and luminescent pearl like skin. This look was designed to be the more reserved version of my first look as they share some similar components. This is something I noticed Givenchy and many other brands do. The hair takes the main focus, with a high placed twisted plait, as seen at Celine this season.
